Task
A small shoe store needed its own software for sales and accounting. The catalog with sizes, the cart and orders had to be in one place. Before that everything was kept in separate spreadsheets.
Solution
I built a .NET app with a catalog filtered by model and size, a cart, checkout and stock tracking. The database is designed so one product exists in several sizes without duplicate cards or confusion about what is in stock.
What was done
- Built the front end from the design mockup
- Added a catalog with filters by model and size
- Added a cart and checkout
- Stored each product in several sizes without duplicates
- Added a basic admin panel
- Packaged the app in a Docker image
Result
Sales and stock are now in one program. An employee places an order and sees the stock right away without switching between files.
